The house was most likely built by Isaac Rosenthall, a local Mount Vernon merchant, sometime in the mid-20th century. A large and impressive structure, the home features a rounded front porch and an enclosed side porch. Sidelights flank the front door, and the gable features a Palladian window and cornice returns. The home also sports an attached garaged at the rear, also indicative to the changing modes of transportation at the time the house was built.
